1. Pre-Registration and On-Site Registration

Those who intend to participate in the "2010 Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference" (AP-RASC'10), including the presenters, session chairs, conveners, committee members, etc., are required to register for the conference.
Please note that all presenters must pre-register for the conference by paying the non-refundable registration fees before July 15, 2010 (see table in "2" below). Only pre-registered papers are scheduled for presentation at the conference. Inclusion of papers in the Program and Proceedings is guaranteed only after pre-registration by the presenters has been completed.
Pre-Registration is available on the AP-RASC'10 website from May 31 to September 3, 2010: the entrance of the Pre-Registration Form is at the bottom of this page.
For those who cannot register beforehand, On-Site Registration is available at the Registration Desk at the conference site from September 22 to 26, 2010.

2. Registration Fees

The Registration Fee differs depending on;

* In order to select "Student," the registrant must be a full-time university student, and must show his/her student ID at the Registration Desk when he/she arrives at the conference site.

* Please note that registration during the period of September 4-21, 2010 will not be accepted. Participants who have not completed registration by September 3, 2010 should register during the conference. The On-Site Registration Desk will be open during the following hours:

3. Pre-Registration Procedure

There are five main steps for the AP-RASC'10 Pre-Registration procedure.

   1) E-mail Address Registration (on-line)
   2) Entering Registrant's Information (on-line)
   3) Selecting Registration Fees (on-line)
   4) Completing Payment (on-line*)
   5) Receiving Entrance Ticket (by post)

* As for the "Means of Payment," please refer to "7" below.

4. E-mail Address Registration

E-mail is the main way for the registrant to correspond with the AP-RASC'10 Secretariat and it is very important.

5. Accompanying Person

One registrant can bring an accompanying person (or two) to participate in the conference official events like the "Welcome Reception" (free of charge) or "Banquet" ("6" below) or an excursion trip provided by the travel agent.
Please note that accompanying persons cannot attend the Scientific Sessions or General Lectures and will not be provided with the Conference Proceedings.

6. Banquet Ticket

The AP-RASC'10 Banquet will be held at the ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama, adjacent to Toyama International Conference Center, from 18:15 to 20:45 on Friday, September 24, 2010. For those who wish to join the Banquet, pre-registration is recommended as a limited number of banquet tickets are available and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Banquet tickets can be purchased by entering the number of tickets in the Pre-Registration Form. The price of the ticket per person is as follows:

7. Means of Payment

For Pre-Registration, the payment should be done using the on-line Credit Card Settlement System, which will be available right after you complete the Pre-Registration Form. If you have difficulty in paying by credit card, you can select another way, "Bank Transfer," by clicking the button in the Pre-Registration Form. Payment by bank transfer must be completed within 10 days from the registration date. If we find the payment not completed by then, the registration will become invalid.
For On-Site Registration, the payment should be done in cash (Japanese Yen (JPY) only), or by credit card.

8. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, no refund will be made after the completion of payment. Instead, a copy of the Conference Proceedings (CD-ROM) will be sent to the registrant after the conference.

9. Privacy Policy

What you enter in the Pre-Registration Form will be used only for the purpose of correspondence for the AP-RASC'10 registration.

 

Pre-Registration for AP-RASC'10 has closed. If you are interested in participating in AP-RASC'10, please come to the conference site and register at the Registration Desk (See 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 above).
